SHORT TERM CONTRACT EMPLOYMENT – (STC)
The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Group Corporate and Shared Services ((GCSS) Department has the following short-term contract opportunities for a period NOT exceeding four (4) months.
The details are as follows:

1) Department: Group Corporate and Shred Services Branch: Group Human Capital Management Designation: Senior Consultant: Employment and Diversity Management Salary: R41 114.59 pm (all-inclusive cost to company) Location: 158 Civic Boulevard, Metro Centre

Appointment Requirements: • Degree in Human Resources Management plus additional background on EE and Gender mainstreaming (NQF Level 7); and • At least six (6) – eight (8) year in Human Resources with emphasis on EE, Diversity Management and Gender Mainstreaming of which four (4) – five (5) years at middle management position.

Primary Function: Lead, direct and manage Employment Equity and diversity Management as well as Gender Mainstreaming section by ensuring the formulation and implementation of strategic objectives and policies to enable the directives to successfully achieve is mandate in relation to Employment Equity, Diversity Management, Disability and Gender Mainstreaming activities.

Key Performance Areas: Ensure that appropriate strategies, business plans, polies and procedures are developed approved communicated to the relevant stakeholders and implemented so that the Departmental strategic imperatives are met. Lead and direct staff within the Employment Equity and Equity Management section. Lead and manage the Employment Equity ad Diversity Management of processes and systems in the COJ. Monitor promote Service Level Agreements (SLA) adherence with service providers departments and other stakeholders SLA, relevant legislation, policy. Implement communication strategies aimed at creating awareness and keeping all stakeholders fully informed.

Facilitate and direct consultation with external stakeholders to ensure strategic outcomes. Facilitate stakeholder engagements and Conflict Management.

Core Competencies: People Management; Ability to work under pressure and produce accurate reports within limited timeframes; High degree of interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of staff and external stakeholders; Ability to produce documents of a high quality. Attention to detail, high levels of accuracy, excellent planning organizing and time management skills. Technical and Managerial skills
